Welcome
to the mythical link page. Over the years, I have accumulated an
extensive list of favorites, and this is where you can get in on the
fun. The below places can help you waste an otherwise productive
afternoon (And no, unless I specifically state it, I'm not affiliated
with these sites).

ONLINE GAMES
Blurst
There's
only one site where you can find an off-road velociraptor safari, a
minotaur china shop, or a jet pack brontosaurus, and that's Blurst.
While you're there, check out my personal favorite, Blush.
Neopets
It's a lot more "kid friendly" since Nickelodeon took over (Their first addition? Bathroom humor, natch), but it has well over 200 games, and if you're going to waste time playing flash games you might as well get paid fake money for it.
Newgrounds
If you're an indy developer in any field and you haven't at least looked at Newgrounds, you've missed something. In addition to games, they have animations, short films, music, and much much more.
Nothing To Do
The reason this site exists is pretty self explanitory.
Pirates of the New Horizon
Pirates of the New Horizon is still technically a prototype. Why, then do I put it up here? Because it's the best prototype I think I've ever seen. Games like this remind me just how far indie game companies have come. Set in a surrealistic world of pirates and featuring stylized cartoon graphics, what's up of the game so far is a really solid and entertaining in its own right.

SATIRICAL SITES
LILEKS-The Institute Of Official Cheer
Do you know the correlation between celery and gravity? Have you ever taken a photo-tour of a purple turkey-themed hotel? Avoid a horrible reincarnation as a pile of junkfood. Visit Lileks.
Superdickery
The site that argues, convincingly, one simple premise: Superman is a dick.
The Guy With The Glasses
Featuring reviews of all sorts of different mediums. Nastolgia Critic (80s, 90s films), and Linkara (comics) are my personal favorites. Hours worth of sarcastic entertainment.

WEB COMICS
FreeFall
This is the BEST hard sci-fi web comic on Earth. The plot arcs are complex, the characters are likable, and the science is both comprehensible and accurate at the same time. I would highly recommend reading the entire Archive, but remember to pace yourself, or you'll wake up in three days wondering what just happened.
XKCD
The name is completely unpronounceable, but the tech and science jokes are all kinds of epic. You won't find a funnier stick-based tech comic on the web.

SARAH A. HOYT'S OFFICIAL WEBPAGE
This site belongs to my mother, who is a professional author. For those of you who wish I'd put a tip jar up, buying Mom's books is a good way to donate. In the end, it helps keep me fed and in college.
DANIEL M. HOYT'S OFFICIAL WEBPAGE
And since I'm mentioning my parents, here's my father's site. He writes some, as well, but he also edits anthologies from time to time. As a contributor to a couple of these anthos, I'd like to take this opportunity to shamelessly encourage you to buy one and help contribute to the royalties sheet.
