Looking to play
a game?
I'll start with the bad news: I use the Gamemaker engine, and that
means that
I've yet to find a reliable way of putting my games in a web player.
I'm working hard on the problem, but believe me, it
isn't as easy as it seems. So if you want to play, you've got to
download the
executable. I understand perfectly if that makes you uncomfortable, and
I
apologize. If I ever figure out another method that actually works,
trust me,
that's going in the news section post haste.
Now, that that's out of the way, let me explain
what you're looking at.
I took a class in my Freshman year on Game creation. There's a long and
complex
explanation for why that happened, but I'll cut to the quick: some of
our work
included group projects. Not being plagiaristic by nature, I've decided
to put
these games by themselves. I'm also working on putting up those games I
submitted for personal credit in the class that are actually playable
(unfortunately, that's not all of them). It may take a while to get
some of
these up, simply because I need time to do a final pass-through an make
sure
that all the obvious game-killing bugs are squashed. The games that
receive more
radical makeovers will be labeled Gold Editions,
and depending on space constraints
may replace the originals. My independent projects will also go up
here, but
these are a lot more ambitious and, consequently, a lot more rare.

D.A.S.H.D.O.T-
This game is a pretty simple Halloween themed fixed-point
shooter. Stereotypical russians will attack you, and your job
is to take them out.

Sky
And Zo (Beta)-
Though I probably shouldn't admit this, this is just about the best
game I ever managed to turn out in the class. It's due for some work,
but in the meantime, enjoy the Beta.
